Why phone calls should be banned.
Please. Stop. Calling. Me. I'm baffled on a daily basis by those who think it's necessary to call me. Or call anyone for that matter. Unless you have an emergency at hand - calling is absolutely redundant. Sure, if you need to warn me that there's a serial killer hiding in the backseat of my car - please call. If you were out hiking and fell off the edge of a cliff and you need me to come rescue you - call me. But if you're calling for almost any other reason, it's really not
Creating artwork time-lapses.
You've probably all seen those time-lapse videos people create, showing you hours worth of painting in a mere matter of seconds. I know I'm addicted to them. There's something so satisfying about watching a blank page become something beautiful before your eyes. So, I thought it was about time that I had a crack at it. Below is a little video I made, probably only a couple of hours worth of painting cut down to less than 2 minutes. But boy - it's a lot harder than it looks! F
Do something *just* for fun.
When's the last time you did something purely for the enjoyment of the act itself? Not because you thought you had to, not because your friends made you, not because you thought it'd get lots of likes on Instagram, not because it will result in future benefits - something just because it was fun in that moment. Maintaining a sense of purpose.
Ever had one of those days where you don't really know what to do? Sure, you go through the motions. Breakfast, shower, emails, second breakfast, exercise, Facebook etc. But you don't really have a feeling deep down that you're accomplishing anything. Nothing is driving you other than habits.
